Founder / Director: Mrs. Annie Navarro

I started working with children while attending school. This was the best approach to applying teaching concepts and practices in the field, sort of speak. I completed thirty ECC units in two and a half years. I attended West Valley, De Anza and San Mateo Community Colleges.

My career as a preschool teacher began at Rainbow Montessori in Campbell, CA. I stayed six years at Rainbow Montessori. Under new ownership, this same school became Kinderwood, and I worked in Kinderwood another five years. In 1997, I moved on to Bright Beginnings in Santa Clara, CA where I was the program director for five years. It was at Bright Beginnings where I learnt how to manage and administer a preschool, and it was also here where the dream of having my own school was born. After five years as Bright Beginnings’ program director, I joined Kidz Academy in Santa Clara upon the invitation of the new owner. Eight years past at Kids Academy, it became clear the moment had come to finally accomplish the dream of opening a preschool.

Now, I am here at Bright Starz, ready to welcome your children to my own new school: a Victorian house in the old historical neighborhood in downtown Santa Clara, where warmth and coziness permeate the whole house. When you enter my school, you immediately feel at home. Come and see, and you will find out Bright Starz Preschool will truly be your child's home away from home.
